Unexpected Changes

Every once and awhile, even if you are already swamped, life throws a curve-ball. As a small business owner, even the smallest curve-balls can have a huge impact and need immediate attention. So, yes, this past week I needed to make a big decision about my website and my email hosting. Two rather large and important elements of any business, small - medium - or large…

Did I have the extra time, or mental energy for it?
Not really!

Did I deeply understand it’s importance?
Absolutely.

Outlining my current goals for 2023, it has left me with one conclusion - it is time for a change.
And one that can broaden my options!

  • A shop housed on kristinbergene.com

  • Connection to my existing Square Inventory

  • Secure ways to send out regular newsletters

  • Simple templates that easily connect to my shop and updates/events

In minimal meditation, the above realizations have been abundantly clear, and I believe that have hit a snag/dead-end through Wix. Now, it could just be me - I accept that. However, with my primary goal to expand my online sales, I do think that it is time to move to Squarespace. It’s easy to get stale, and while I love low-maintenance options, I do want to ensure that my online presence looks as modern as possible.

So, while this change was unexpected, I am choosing to look at it as a positive!
2023 is going to be a big year for KBCreative and it’s only fitting that I begin with a new look. Right?
